Anyway, things are ok here - Clive has been in Europe since Tuesday - gets home Wednesday. I am still working on the bath solution! I bath and feed Esme first then try and put her down so Lydia gets some time alone with me. It's not working at the moment. Usually Clive is around to bath Lydia while I do Esme - this means I have no time restraints on how long Esme feeds so she keeps going until she's completely full.
At the moment though I'm so aware that Lydia is crying out for attention that I rush Esme somewhat which means she wakes up halfway through Lydia's bath and ends up feeding while I read Lydia her story.
Oh well - will try again tomorrow!
The weather has cooled right down thankfully - when Clive gets back I want to visit the beach - Lydia really wants to go and make sandcastles and as it won't be oppresively hot anymore I want to go too! Have bought one of those UV tents for the beach as well so at least I can hide in there with Esme if it all gets too much!
We've also booked our Christmas flights - fly home 22nd Dec until 5th Jan and are rentinga house in the centre of Guildford so really looking forward to being home again!

Hmmm any chance you could sit and feed Esme in the bathroom whilst Lydia is in the bath? I can remember doing that a few times!
